Subject: First dead show
This is the first dead show I attended. They did a lot of songs in which I had some emotional investment, particularly "scarlet begonias"

Subject: Were you there?
Post-show, a police car was parked directly in front of the Civic Center and somebody artfully poured chartreuse colored day-glo paint over the blue stobe light on the roof. The paint was seeping down onto the white roof and the reflections of the streetlights off the bleeding colors was inspirational, so a group of anywhere from 10-15 people (it has been 30 years and you know how we tend to exaggarate in our old age)gathered around the car and somebody had a camera and took the picture. If you can share anything about this event I would love to know if you can track down that picture!! For this reason it gets five stars! Audience participation. Email me at: matthew.fleisig@pacer.com Peace
